Leaping Lambs Nursery & Preschool are dedicated to offering a safe, secure, and engaging learning environment where children can play and explore their natural curiosity for the world. The popular nursery and pre school now have five sites located throughout the Bristol and Bath region.
Enhanced were invited to complete a full review of the nursery’s telephone and internet services. Initially we noticed each site had a different solution in place, across a range of providers with no continuity. Additionally the nursery had started to outgrow the current infrastructure and wanted to consolidate services to one supplier where possible.
Enhanced recommended a VoIP solution, meaning Leaping Lambs would use subscription based hosted telephony and move away from an on-premise analogue system. We replaced the old phone system with a secure, cloud managed service and now provide dedicated support. New handsets were also installed, along with the ability to make and receive calls via a mobile app when required. Each location has a separate phone number and if there was ever an outage, the phones will automatically reroute to another location or mobile.
The final challenge was to update the broadband. ISDN lines were replaced with SoGEA fibre broadband, futureproofing the nursery connectivity while also providing faster speeds and greater resilience. SoGEA includes an underlying version of a phone line, meaning the nursery no longer require a separate copper line, with both voice and data now delivered across one digital line. Enhanced ensured there was a seamless transition and minimal business disruption.
Following the successful implantation of both a new telephony and broadband solution in their first site, we have since proceeded to install a mirrored solution to Leaping Lambs other locations.
